TERMS & CONDITIONS

BASH EVENT HIRE â€‹WITH BASH EVENTS 2025

PRICES

Your booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been made. We cannot hold dates due to the number of

enquiries we receive daily. Deposits are payable as follows, 30% of the estimated cost for the catering

must be paid upon booking. The balance of the catering will become due 7 days in advance of your event

unless otherwise agreed in advance by Bash Events Team.

By paying the deposit you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below.

The total price agreed is subject to change due to inflation or a price increase of products. When this

happens we will communicate this to you as soon as possible.

There is a travel fee of £1 per mile. We use Google maps to estimate the route and will use their

suggested mileage. The travel fee will be included in your total price.

We charge a handling fee for the organisation of (optional and/or agreed) additional services. Please see

this list in Appendix 1**

Otherwise our services include:

- Cooking and serving the food for a duration of 2 hours for set up and prep time and 2 hours

serving time. This is 4 hours in total (unless agreed between parties)

- Additional hours will be charged at £250 per hour;

- If you have only booked our catering service we are solely there to cook and serve food and not

assist you with your event ie setting up tables etc as this may delay service time and overall

experience (unless otherwise agreed by us alongside Bash Hiring Equipment)

- We will provide high end biodegradable cutlery and plates. Unless otherwise booked and agreed

with the Hiring Team, please enquire about our availability and costs.

Our quotes are exclusive of VAT

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

Deposits are non-refundable. We do not accept cancellations but do permit a one-off change of date.

Costings may need to be re-evaluated. All cancellations by the customer must be made in writing to the

Bash Events Team as soon as possible.

The following charges apply;

Cancellation within one month will incur 50% of estimated cost

Cancellation within two weeks will incur 75% of estimated cost

Cancellation within one week will incur 100% of estimated cost

CHANGES

If you wish to make changes to the booking this must be made in writing with our written agreement

back confirming the changes

Once booking is confirmed the Bash Events Team are happy to accept any increases in guest’s numbers

however no reductions will be possible. We will ask for your final number of guests 2 or so weeks before

the event.

 

FOOD

It may be required to change the menu due to availability of stock. When this happens we will inform you

as soon as possible to agree on an alternative.

Please let us know any dietary requirements or allergies in advance as soon as possible so we are able

to agree alternative solutions with you. Chef Lopez Events are not responsible for any adverse reactions

to our food if we have not been informed in writing before the event.

ON THE DAY

If there is an increase in guests on the day we require a written email stating the number increase with a

confirmed reply on the additional price and payment before we will agree to provide the service

We require a member of the venue and/or client group to welcome us at the venue and give us a Health

& Safety tour of the building to ensure we are aware of all areas and ‘need to knows’.

We require all clients to check the venue for any issues or damage and report it to the team member in

charge on the day, before we leave the venue. We will not be liable for any damage, breakages, loss or

theft of property once we have vacated the venue. We will not accept responsibility for any historical

damages I.e. Scuffs, markings, spillages, etc

Where Bash Events Team have hired equipment, should this be lost or damaged during the event the

client will be responsible for any charges.

We will ensure to clean up all of our own wastage from the space we work in.

We may at times wear a body camera to protect ourselves. This footage will not be used without any

prior communication. It is for quality control purposes.
